When genre-defying Riddim Commission and fast-rising artist Lucas Alexander team up with the incredible vocalist Gabi'el, the result was destined to be a knockout: not one, but two thundering club tracks delivered via HE.SHE.THEY. Records.

Lucas Alexander is in the midst of a phenomenal breakout year. When he’s not supporting Fatboy Slim on his UK Tour or topping Beatport charts with his own imprint ‘Rarebit Records’, his slew of hit releases can be heard in the sets of Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola and many more. Meanwhile, Riddim Commission (Marco Del Horno and Swerve) have steadily earned their place in the musical history pantheon as acclaimed innovators. As DJ Target (BBC Radio 1) emphatically puts it, “Every time I’m sent a Riddim Commission track I’m rushing to open it up, because I know it’s going to be a banger.”

After years of friendship, these musical forces finally united to create the blistering EP, which clearly draws upon a shared appreciation of UK Garage, House and Minimal. For Lucas, the process was beautiful and natural: “They fired over these pitch-perfect, crystal clear vocals from Gabi'el that I immediately fell in love with and knew we were on to something special! After a few rough drafts sent back and forth, and that Riddim Commission subline entered the mix, it didn’t take long to sprinkle with acid and wrap up two thought-provoking killer club cuts.”
